1. Stay hydrated

We all heard about 8 glasses of water rule, but there's no scientific evidence
to it. Now the question arises, How much should you intake water for better
skin or health ? There are many different answers on just how much water
you should be drinking every day. Some experts advice to believe that you
need to sip on water ,even if you are not thirsty. According to us this all
depends upon how active you are? how is your diet? your environment.
According to research for adults, the general recommendation from The U.S.
National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine is about:
11.5 cups (2.7 liters) a day for women
15.5 cups (3.7 liters) a day for men
We should also drink a glass of warm water at morning, This is also highly
recommended because it helps digestion and improves the metabolic rate.

2. Cleansing

Clean your face twice a day or just once. Wash your face with lukewarm
water. Take steam for 5-10 minutes or less. Use a soft towel for your face.

You can use cleanser and face wash in your skincare routine. A face wash is
usually better for very oily skin types, while a face cleanser is often
universally helpful however some people usually use face wash for
cleansing. Everything takes time to show it's results but this one will be worth your
patience. Here's a face wash product which is highly recommended for all
skin types:

3. Exfoliate

Exfoliating can improve the appearance of your skin in several ways.
According to the American Academy of Dermatology, exfoliation can leave
your skin looking brighter and improve the effectiveness of topical skin care
products by enhancing absorption.Regular exfoliation can also help prevent
clogged pores, resulting in fewer breakouts. Long-term exfoliating can
increase collagen production. Collagen is key to glowing, vibrant skin. The
protein also promotes skin elasticity, minimizing the appearance of fine
lines and related sagging.

4. Sunscreen/ suncream

Protect your skin from sunburn even if you aren't going outside much these
days , experts says it's still important to wear sunscreen indoors because
harmful rays can penetrate windows and some evidence suggests blue-light
from smartphone and laptop screens can damage skin. When it comes to
skincare the truth is that higher-SPF products are only marginally better at
shielding you from UVB, according to both the EWG and the Skin Cancer
Foundation. SPF 30 blocks nearly 97% of UVB radiation, SPF 50 blocks about
98%, and SPF 100 blocks about 99%. Apply an SPF between 30 to 15.
As a solution we categorized two best sunscreens for all body types.

Lastly: Don't let sunscreen do all the protection. Shade, hats, sunglasses,
and clothing should be part of your sun protection, too.

5. For acne and wrinkles

If you have acne, you may want to swap in a cleanser with salicylic acid, a
gentle chemical exfoliator, or the occasional spot treatment with benzoylperoxide. For wrinkles, fine lines, or sun damage, you may want to add in
an over-the-counter retinoid to start with (and maybe a prescription
version later). Interested in managing hyperpigmentation? Brightening
agents like hydroquinone or vitamin C may do the trick.(Click the images for more info).
